Chapter 119

“Morning sleepy heads!”

Steph had a cheery smile on her face. Jesse stood with a tray in his hands, blushing slightly when Cheyenne sat up and flashed him a glimpse of her creamy skin.

Jon yawned and stretched himself.

“Breakfast in bed..what do you guys want and how much does it cost?”

“Aaaw dad, we just wanted to surprise you two in bed…no ulterior motives!” Jesse had his dad’s gorgeous open smile.

“Well in that case bring it on, son.”

Romeo was still sleeping like a log. The poor boy had a rough night.

The two teenagers enjoyed a cup of coffee while the adults enjoyed their breakfasts. Jake came in with Shelby at his heels.

“Mornin’ dad, mornin’ Cheyenne…”

“Hey, sweetie up and playing with Shelby already?”

“Hey, buddy!”

“Yeah, we chased some butterflies on the lawn and I threw her ball in the pool and she jumped in after it!” He giggled at the thought.

“So I take it you were all up bright and early. Did Violet serve you guys breakfast already?”

“Naaaw, Richie told Violet he wanted to make everyone breakfast and he threatened us… if we come to your room early he’ll kick our butts.”

Jon looked at his watch with a frown.

“Good God it’s 11 already!”

Richie peaked around the door.

“So I take it the happy couple is awake?”

“Hey, come in we are just having breakfast. Breakfast you made..”

‘Hi Rich. Great breakfast, First coffee, now breakfast…what’s next?”

“Well the kids and I decided we are having a barbeque and a pool party today. It’s going to be damn hot, so why not spend it by the pool?”

“That’s a great idea!”

“Well if ya guys want to get the stuff ready, let me and Cheyenne get dressed. We’ll meet you at the pool.”

Romeo woke up and Richie took his hand to take him downstairs to give him some breakfast.

He walked closer to the couple in the bed, whispering..‘You two better not keep us waitin’. I’m so glad the kids didn’t hear the raucous you two made last night.”

“No!” Cheyenne’ face turned to all the colour of the rainbow.

‘Well, you shouldn’t listen then, asshole..”

“I shouldn’t listen? God you two almost ripped the roof off…”

Cheyenne looked quite pale at that moment.

Richie leaned over to her, jabbing her playfully on the jaw.

“Don’t worry sweetheart, my room is next to yours remember…I’m sure the kids didn’t hear a thing..Besides I’m used to moaning and groaning….”

He took Romeo’s hand again, flashed them a wide grin and left..
