Chapter 96

Jon had a hell of a hangover the next morning. Tico and David wrote Jon’s quiet mood down to that. Richie ignored Jon and chatted with the guys on the flight. If Tico and David found it strange they didn’t show it.

Tico and David reached their destination a few hours later and greeted the guys and got off the plane. They were looking forward to seeing their families again.

It left Jon and Richie alone for the remainder of the flight.

Jon had his shades on and was laying with his head on the backrest. Richie wasn’t sure if he was sleeping. He decided to let him be, so he closed his eyes and drifted off.

Jon was looking forward to the weekend but Richie left an uneasy feeling in his gut. He wasn’t sure what Richie was playing at and the fact that Cheyenne loved Richie’s company made it only worse for Jon. He didn’t like the idea that Cheyenne was moving to the cottage but he couldn’t force her to stay in the mansion with him….

Cheyenne felt sad when she got on the plane leaving her dear friend behind but she had this flutter in her stomach and she knew it had to do with the fact that she would see Jon soon.

“Well honey when I see you again its gonna be in your wedding dress!”

“I can’t wait and sweetie look after yourself. By the healthy blush on your face I guess you are looking forward to parade in your sexy nighties and about the filling up afterwards.”

Cheyenne had a happy laugh and she pulled her friend closer for a quick goodbye.

The flight felt like forever, but when the plane landed she felt a bit nervous. Hoping that Jon’s kids would like her.

Violet and Shelby waited for her at the front door and it felt like coming home after a long arduous trip.

“Honey glad your back. Did you enjoy your stay with your friend?”

Violet took Cheyenne straight to the kitchen, their favourite place to have coffee and daily chats.

Violet wanted to know if all the wedding arrangements were on track. Cheyenne described everything in detail, making Violet sigh. She was a romantic soul.

“I want to show you the cottage. I took the liberty of moving all your stuff over there. Your shipment came as well, so I had them unpack all your boxes and took out the furniture and moved in yours. I think you are going to like it so much!”

They took a leisurely stroll to the cottage and Cheynne’s breath caught in her throat. The place was absolutely stunning. It was so homey.

‘Oh thank you Violet. It’s just perfect!”

“Now you have a little place you can call your own.”

She walked through the cottage. It was even bigger than her old apartment. It had two bedrooms, a luxurious bathroom with a shower and a bath, a sunny kitchen, a sitting room with a fire place and a small study. She had a porch looking over the river and she felt her heart lift.

This is my little place of heaven.

Shelby already made herself at home and Cheyenne smiled. She is such an easy going animal. Wherever Cheyenne was, was just fine with her.

Cheyenne unpacked and put Jon’s and Richie’s presents in her cupboard. She wanted to buy them each a little something to say thanks for everything they have done for her. Jon’s pressie had nothing to do with gratitude rather..kinkiness. She smiled to herself.

What has Jon done to me?

She took a long bath. She needed to calm her nerves. Meeting Jon’s kids made her tummy flutter nervously. Children don’t usually welcome a new man or woman in their parents’ life. So she expected them to be a bit standoffish.
