Chapter 348

After they had breakfast Jon insisted on going with her to town. He wanted to make sure the damn paparazzi didn’t bombard her with their cameras. They knew how he felt about taking pictures of his kids and if he was close by they wont even try to bug her.

The babies slept right through the whole shopping expedition and thanks to the help of Dot did they know what each child would like.

Jon kept an eye on Cheyenne and the babies, a few people walked up to congratulate them on the birth of the twins. Jon and Cheyenne accepted gracefully smiling at the heart warming gesture of total strangers.

Jon knew there would be pictures in the tabloids about their outing today but as long as the babies are covered up they could do whatever they liked. He did have a few regulars walking up to him asking for a picture of him and Cheyenne together and he obliged, just reminding them that there will be no pictures of the babies.

It was early afternoon when they finally reached the mansion. Cheyenne was excited about the gifts they bought the children and couldn’t wait to give it to the kids the next day. It was Jon last day tomorrow and then she wont see him for a couple of days again, but she could tell that he was just as excited to see the kids’ reaction to meeting the new babies.

Jon enjoyed fatherhood and he was always willing to help wherever he could. She felt a bit sad knowing that she wont be seeing him for a while but knew the babies and the wedding arrangements would keep her busy.


“Cheyenne! Dot and the kids are here!” Jon called down the hallway.

“Shhhhhh! I just put the babies down!”

His arms closed around her pulling her close for a quick cuddle.

“I’m sorry baby. You can spank me later…”

She laughed up into his face, stroking his cheek with her palm.

“You and your spanking. I swear!”

“Daddy! Cheyenne!” Steph caught the couple in the hallway. She was so used to seeing them in each others arms, she didn’t even notice anymore.

“Hey Steph honey.” He hugged her close to him, he cant believe how grown up she was, shit he was getting old!

Stephanie went over to Cheyenne, hugging her, babbling excitedly about the twins. She had a package in her hand, holding it up towards Cheyenne .

“Just a little something for the babies.”

“Aaaw thanks honey!”

Everyone bundled into the nursery oohin and aahing over the crib. The twins were obvlious to the commotion their cuteness caused, sucking at their dummies in their sleep.

Dot stared for a while at the little girl, her eyes seeking Jon’s.Their gazes met and he nodded, a smile played on his lips.

“Yeah I know, she looks like Steph when she was a baby. I told Cheyenne she looked like Steph.”

Romeo was giving everyone a hard time, his mommy promised him he could touch the babies and now they were sleeping! Adults could be so nasty sometimes!

“Lets go downstairs, I have a surprise for all of you. The nanny will call us as soon as the babies wake up.”

The mention of a surprise made him forget all about the sleeping babies. He grabbed Cheyenne’s hand and skipped with her towards the stairs.
