Chapter 317

Cheyenne couldn’t wait for him to come back. She, Violet and the interior decorator worked their butts off but they managed to turn one bedroom into baby heaven.

She knew the moment he saw it he would know what her answer was and she wanted it that way. She needed to feel him close to her again, his love burning in his eyes.

She had less than two months left before the babies’ arrival. She wanted to enjoy the last few weeks with him as best she could.

She was sitting at her favourite tree by the river, smelling the water drifting towards her in the breeze, lifting her face as a breeze played with her hair. She was daydreaming about their future, the babies impending birth. What will they look like? Like Jon, like her, a blend between the two?

“Hey, baby..”

She gasped, looking up to find a hunk with electric blue eyes staring down at her, a sensual smile on his face, the breeze tugged at his hair, stealing her breath from her.

“Hey.”

His eyes roamed over her. Her cheeks were rosy and her eyes glittered. She looked healthy and oh so damn gorgeous.

He held a hand out to her, she took it and he pulled her gently to her feet.
Disappointment stabbed through him as he noticed she didn’t wear the ring yet, but he managed to hide it.

‘Hows my baby and my babies?”

“They are just great and I..well I’m hot and heavy and feel like a hippo who lost its way.”

He tucked her closer, looking for any sign of rejection from her, but there was none.

“You are just gorgeous, baby. I can stare at you forever. You are growing two new humans, have you ever thought of that? It’s a miracle….you are a miracle, my miracle.”

His lips touched hers softly at first, hoping and praying she will give him this….only this.

She leaned softly into him, lifting her face willingly to feel those lips she had longed for on hers.

Jon’s heart rejoiced as she soften against him, even welcoming his kiss.

A relieved groan escaped his lips, seeking entrance with his tongue. Cheyenne closed her eyes.
